| Description: | Accounts Manager - Rural Services Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 + Bonus Scheme Location: Shepton Mallet This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with a background in Accountancy Practice to join a leading provider in the Accountancy arena. Our client is seeking an individual with a good understanding and keen interest in Rural Services and Farming. As a manager you will have responsibility for continuing to grow the business and delivering high quality service and advice to your clients. You will work closely with two other managers to lead and develop a strong team including trainees. You will need a proven record of delivering excellence and be committed to your own career development and that of your team. You will manage your own portfolio and be actively representing the practice in the local rural community whilst developing new business opportunities. Qualifications and skills: ACA/ACCA qualified ideally from a progressive accountancy practice Relevant experience and knowledge of the Rural sector Up to date accounting knowledge - including accounting standards Current knowledge of CGT and IHT planning for the agricultural sector Experience in audit, accounts preparation, and tax with a Rural Services bias Experienced people manager, with the ability to coach and develop a team Excellent interpersonal skills |
