Role Summary The Capital Markets Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting related to Securitization transactions across GE Commercial Finance businesses. The CM Center Of Excellence "COE" supports 18 GE businesses. This position requires knowledge of GAAP, SEC and other regulatory requirements. Essential Responsibilities * Advise and resolve operational accounting issues for securitization and syndication transactions * Develop and document accounting model for new securitization platforms * Establish processes for new businesses served by the COE * Review quarterly supplemental disclosures to ensure SEC and financial reporting compliance * Conduct periodic training sessions for Tax, FP&A and Finance functions in businesses and COE * Prepare stand-alone financial statements and manage audits for Edison Conduits * Interface with business Controllers, Finance Managers, Corporate Audit Staff and KPMG * Work closely with Sr. Technical Accounting Manager ensure proper accounting around new products
