Kent based Warehouse and Logistics business requires a Group Finance Director to head up the Finance function of this GBP30M t/o business.

This is a vital and highly visible position within the group offering the successful applicant the chance to show off their job costing skills gained within a similar sector such as a contracting/ logistics; service-led business.

Your responsibilities will include managing and developing the existing financial team and processes; managing banking and credit insurance relationships; overseeing reconciliation, balance sheet reporting and liaison with external auditors as well as preparation of budgets and forecasts; project analysis to support strategic decision making; and ensuring adherence to company procedures and financial controls within the business.

You will be professionally qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE and a proven track record of success. You will be prepared to take a very ``hands on`` approach in problem solving and you will also have good IT and systems skills (especially Excel) as well as experience in managing staff.
