Business here has continued to grow throughout 2010 and the prospects for an ongoing upward curve are equally promising; the outfit are looking to hire a VAT practitioner with experience of providing both advice and compliance to a broad client base of OMBs and some international companies. You will be familiar with handling areas such as partial exemption, land and property and international work and will be given the opportunity to work autonomously, with occasional meetings scheduled. The likely candidate profile for this position could be: Someone at VAT Senior or Assistant Manager grade, perhaps tired of working in a large organisation, but keen on good quality work, with autonomy and flexible working arrangements. It may suit someone looking at returning to work from a period of maternity leave, or a general career break, who still enjoys VAT client work but needs or prefers this flexibility.
