| Description: | Senior Manager - Accountancy Practice Location: Somerset Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP50,000 This is a unique opportunity to join the leadership team of a prominent West Country accountancy firm. Most of their current partners are ex big 4, who opted for a better lifestyle in the West Country but combine this with the excitement and challenges of advising a substantial client base of entrepreneurial owner managers who drive their businesses forward with maximum energy and zeal. As a Senior Manager in Their Business Services team you will have responsibility for growing the business and delivering a high quality service and solid technical advice to your clients. Your role will consist of managing a portfolio of clients, both corporate and unincorporated businesses, as well as working with the Director to expand the Business Services Department. You will need to show that you can deliver excellence, and be committed to your own career development and that of your team. Qualifications and skills: ACA/ACCA qualified ideally from a progressive accountancy practice Proven experience of forging successful business relationships Up to date accounting knowledge Accounts preparation and tax experience Experience of Sage & Quickbooks would be an advantage Excellent client handling skills: creation of trust, management of expectations, delivery and responsiveness Experienced people manager, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a team Highly organised and able to meet deadlines consistently |
