Advisory & Compliance Work For FTSE & AIM-Listed Clients

This large practice boast a strong UK network and an equally impressive international presence; the firm represent FTSE and AIM-listed clients predominantly and have ambitions to grow the VAT department in the North by adding at least one and potentially two VAT practitioners at manager grade for their Manchester office.

Undertaking a combination of advisory and compliance work, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Reviewing work prepared by more junior members of staff.

Spotting selling opportunities & possible business development ideas/initiatives, notifying the relevant Senior Manager or Partner and working in tandem with them where applicable.

The ideal candidate will be a CTA or AIIT qualified VAT specialist, with experience of working for a large accountancy firm; ambition and a ‘can do’ attitude are also important for cultural fit.
